So close!

How can someone be so good about pronoun-antecedent agreement in one sentence and then screw it up so badly in the next one????

From a website that I use:

"__________ has accepted your invitation. He/she must think you're incredibly smart!!!
You can view __________'s shelf and see what they are reading here."

Sigh. . .I think I'm the only one who cares. . .
